Why Lewisville Families Choose Castle Hills Pediatric Dentistry

Choosing a dentist for your child is about more than clean teeth. It’s about finding someone who makes your child feel safe and gives you clear, honest answers. Dr. Abraham is a board certified pediatric dentist who spent years in general dentistry before completing advanced pediatric training, so she understands both healthy growth and complex treatment. Lewisville parents get treatment plans that put the least invasive option first, such as silver diamine fluoride to stop early cavities without drilling. When a child needs more, we offer comfort options from laughing gas to general anesthesia. We accept most major PPO plans and offer in house membership plans for families without dental insurance.

“ The staff was so patient and understanding with my autistic son. It’s sometimes hard to find doctors/staff who treat children with autism with respect but everyone was so kind and worked with us throughout a difficult visit for x rays. Dr Abraham also asked lots of questions and seemed to really care about her patients. I would recommend them to anyone with small children! :) ”

Brittany B.

“ What a great place! From the moment my child walked in, we were promptly greeted with smiles and made to feel welcome. The first dentist visit (especially for a 15-month old) can be a scary place, but Dr. Abraham and her team made us feel instantly comfortable and taken care of. My little even held the assistant's hand! Great care from a caring team and all smiles from the smallest of patients is a win, win, win!! Thanks, Castle Hills! ”

“ My 4 year old had her first appointment and I was so pleased. From the time we walked in the door there was a gentle and happy atmosphere. The office is colorful and calming. The person giving her x-rays was patient and explained everything to my curious little person. Then cleaning her teeth was a breeze and fun. The doctor was very knowledgeable and friendly and I appreciated her expertise. Overall wonderful experience and I am very pleased. Can't wait to return for checkups! ”

Ty A.

“ Beyond amazing! My husband and I we’re kind of worried how our daughter would react with her first ever dental appt here in the US that he has to take a day off from work to be there for it. Days prior to her appt she kept telling us she is scared. But on the day of the appt, SHE DID GREAT!! Nothing we expected at all, not even what we hoped for her reaction, to say the least. She sat still most of the time and listened to the instructions the dentist told her. She kept telling us she enjoyed the whole process afterwards. ”

Frequently Asked Questions

Is your pediatric dental office close to Lewisville?

Yes. Our office is at 4541 N Josey Lane, Suite 210, Carrollton, TX 75010, a short drive from Lewisville by State Highway 121 or Interstate 35E. Families from Old Town Lewisville, the Lewisville Lake area and neighborhoods across Lewisville ISD can reach us easily for checkups and urgent visits.

Why fix cavities in baby teeth if they will fall out anyway?

Baby teeth hold space for adult teeth, help children chew and speak clearly, and some stay in place until age 12. An untreated cavity can cause pain, infection and early tooth loss that leads to crowding later. Treating it early with a filling, crown or silver diamine fluoride protects your child’s growing smile.

What is silver diamine fluoride, and is it right for my child?

Silver diamine fluoride is a liquid brushed onto a cavity to stop it from growing. It takes less than a minute, needs no shots or drilling and works well for young or anxious children. The treated spot turns dark, so Dr. Abraham will explain whether it’s a good fit for your child.

Is general anesthesia safe for children’s dental treatment?

For children who need extensive treatment or cannot sit through care while awake, general anesthesia is a safe and well established option when given by a qualified anesthesia provider. Your child is monitored the entire time, and we review their health history and give clear instructions before and after the visit.

Are dental X rays safe for my child?

Yes. We use digital X rays, which use far less radiation than older film X rays. Dr. Abraham takes X rays only when needed to find hidden cavities, check adult teeth coming in or look at an injury. For most children, that means a small set once a year or less.
